happenings

we have been pretty boring around here lately. i am looking forward to school starting up again and getting back in to a routine!

until then we simply hang out...

we make messes when we eat

we make forts when it's raining outside. (yes it actually rained here one day! hallelujah)



we put on puppet shows



we have in-home spa days


we prance around the house wearing nothing but a pair of wings



we have 4:30 visits from the local fire department.


this is actually a funny story. all 9 smoke detectors randomly went off in our house around 3:45am...and there was no way of turning them off. not even the firemen could shut them up. at 5:00, i finally had to pack up the girls and head to my parent's house to put them back to sleep. dan stayed back with the firemen and informed me the last detector stopped blaring at 9:45. such a nightmare at the time, but funny to talk about now.

honestly...that is seriously all that has been happening lately.

my mom has gone back to school so summer is officially coming to a close.
