i have so many pictures on my phone. i need to do a better job of getting them on here & documented rather than deleting them in a panic when it says my storage is full.

so here's a glimpse at what we've been up to the last couple weeks via my phone...

lilly was the first in her class to bring "kookie the koala" home for the weekend. we celebrated with lunch at chick-fil-a. (the greatest kid-friendly restaurant)

we celebrated brendan's 6th birthday with a bowling party.

lilly has been practicing her gymnastics while we wait for ryan in the carpool line

we beat the heat last week with some after school smoothies

goofballs

the weather cooled off just in time for movie night at the peterson's on friday. the best way to spend an evening! i hope they realize they can never move...or at least they have to take that fence with them.

saturday i woke up early to a perfectly crisp fall morning that was just begging me to run.

so i did.

followed that up with a walk through kirkwood in the greentree parade! this was sgm's first year in the parade so i recruited a few of ryan's new kindergarten friends to walk with is...and thank goodness i did because we were the only students! we need to do some major family recruiting next year!

the girls had a blast handing out candy & riding in the float with fr. molini.

sunday was another beautiful day that was calling us outside. so we took a family walk up to starbucks.

cool temps+pumpkin spice lattes=fall is here!

the weekend ended with both girls having soccer. this was ryan's first game against none other than my alma mater...st. peter's! we totally won. well actually i have no idea because they don't keep score...but we totally did.

lilly also had her 1st practice/scrimmage. we finally found an outlet for all that energy. she loved every second of it and proved to have some soccer skills up her sleeve! can't wait to see her improve every week.

last but not least...my helper at the grocery store this morning.

whoever had the bright idea of adding this option at schnucks obviously does not has children.

sure, they look cute. sure, the kids love them. sure, they are somewhat do-able at a small store like trader joe's...but at the "taj mahal" of schnucks?!?

not cute.

Not cute at all.
