lilly's a rainbow

last wednesday was lilly's first day of school!

(yes, she wrote that! girlfriend is doing so well with writing...it helps having a big sister who's totally into it)

this year will be her last year at puns. she'll be moving on to sgm for kindergarten next year just like her big sis did. so hard to believe that little peanut will be in a uniform this time next year.


lilly will be in school every day this year. she's a rainbow monday-thursday and does friday cooks to round out the week. i had the opportunity to send her to sgm this year since they just began the new pre-k program...however...i just wasn't ready to leave puns.


i just love this program! it has been everything i could have asked for in a preschool. the perfect balance of learning, play and socialization. not to mention lilly has been going there since she was 2.

dan and i always seem to hold lilly's hand a little tighter when it comes to things like this. she is just more of an introvert than ryan is. sometimes new things can make lil a little nervous unlike ryan who is quick to try anything. so, of course, I braced myself for tears or uneasiness that first day.


that worry was all for nothing! big shot walked right into class and has come out smiling and full of school stories ever since. just goes to show that we can never underestimate our little tiger!

may, on the other hand, is not happy about this school thing.
