fall fun

it's hard to believe that one of my favorite months of the year has already come and gone. thankfully it's just the lead-in month to the two best months of all!

i love, love, love the holiday season. like sick-to-your-stomach love it. while most people cringe when they see christmas decorations filling stores on nov 1st...i applaud it. christmas trees, inflatable santas, twinkling lights as far as the eye can see...the more the merrier in my opinion!

nothing makes me happier than when the local radio station begins to play christmas music 24/7. what's even better is that i am passing my obsession onto the three little girls who reside in this house. they request christmas music in july. it's music to my ears! (pun intended) thankfully dan joins in on the merriment...it really wouldn't work out if he was a scrooge. 

anyway...back to october. we had fun. lots and lots of fall fun. kicking off with my favorite fall activity....

the pumpkin patch!

unfortunately kindergarten only allows for one patch visit per october now...darn all day school...but i am glad we at least got one gorgeous fall day in there. it really wouldn't have felt right if we missed it.
