hauck family vacation...part one

here i am, sitting in my own bed, going through the hundreds of pictures i took over the last week. we had such a fabulous time on vacation...i'm so sad it's over.

i honestly took over 500 pictures. i am going to break the whole trip down into parts.

part one consists of the first couple days. it was just dan, myself, elaine, mary and the girls. the girls loved getting in some good aunt mary time...they sure do miss her while she's in denver! we woke up first thing friday and headed straight for the beach.

elaine purchased a paddle board...so of course we all had to try it out!

dan's first SUP experience...i had to google what that was after our coolest friend ryan mentioned it in an instagram. it means stand-up-paddling, by the way (duh, katie)...and he gets up within minutes

he was so steady he was able to take the girls out for. all that cross fit has really paid off!

then he really had to make us all feel bad and took both girls out.

that evening we walked to the crab trap for dinner. ryan picked the little blue outfit for annie...i told her i packed all theirs to match so of course she was all over it. we snapped some pics on the way to the trap which tuned out to be pretty darn cute! love those impromptu events when everyone cooperates without coaxing or bribing!
