h.f.v...part three

family picture night is always the highlight of the week for me. we get all spruced up and take some shots on the beach before heading down to the crab trap for dinner.

every year seems to get easier and easier. the kids know what to expect now. they realize the quicker they listen and smile the quicker we get down to the playground at the trap! smart kids.

as you'll see, this years pictures did not disappoint....

eight is great!

dan had to leave a few days early to get back to work...so i got a pic with just my girls

i have got these boys trained. all week if i said their name they just turned around and smiled.

this year we timed dinner just right. we sent ali ahead to put our name in while we took pictures. by the time we finished and got everyone loaded in the car and the golf cart we went right to our table. couldn't have worked out any better!

after dinner we let the kids play on the playground for a bit before making the trek home.

it's only about a mile down the beach from the house so pat and i decided to walk with the kids. my mom brought glow sticks so we busted those out for the walk home.
