mah...4months
8:45 PM
man oh man...another month has flown by in the world of annie hauck. we have been cruising along in this little life of ours. school, soccer games, a weekend getaway...this is our normal at the moment and we are loving every minute of it.
especially the early fall weather that has moved in...mornings on our patio are definitely something to smile about!
your stats at 4 months...
weight: 13lbs 8oz 50th percentile
height: 24 inces 50th percentile
head: 41.5cm 65th percentile
holy moly...do you see those numbers up there?? you are the first hauck baby to ever see anything in the 50s, but the 60s!
say what?!?!?!
rock on with your chunky self.
we've done a lot over the last month. some of the highlights include your welcome into the catholic church. that was such a fun day and you looked beyond adorable in the christening gown
and even cuter in your party outfit
you also took your first road trip to the windy city. as i stated in that post you were an absolute dream to drive with. amazing how much you have changed in just 2 short months. i cannot even imagine driving more than 20 minutes with you back then...let alone 5 hours!
you really were such a trooper as we dragged you all around the city.
things are going well on the home front too. in the sleep department you are doing ok. not awesome, but not terrible. for the last couple nights you have only been waking up once, around 3am. let's hope that is a new trend because i was starting to get a little frustrated with those 12am wakings. you are up in your room and i will admit climbing those stairs more than once a night is rough! you are usually asleep at night around the same time as the big girls (7:30ish) and you do take a bottle when you wake up because i swear that is the only time you will sit still long enough to actually drink it. (you are such a snacker...a couple ounces here, a couple ounces there) however, i was getting very close to cutting that midnight feeding out because i know you don't need it...so let's just hope you are doing that on your own.
fingers crossed.
when it comes to naps you are kicking butt. you love your naps! most days you snooze on and off as we run around in the mornings. (thank goodness you love the car now) when we do get home for the afternoons you take a nice long siesta in your bed.
sometimes you don't even make it to the bed
you have a lot of new tricks...you are rolling over like crazy. you rolled from your back to your tummy two days after you turned 3 months and you have not sat still since. whenever i put you on the ground you are all over the place! whenever you do stay on your back for more than a minute...you love to play with your toes. they don't call this the happy baby pose in yoga for nothing!
(you are also losing a bunch of your newborn hair. you're sporting kind of a curly faux hawk at the moment. it's pretty funny. i'm not too worried though because, well, look at your sisters)
speaking of your big sisters, they have really lost interest in you lately...not. (yes, i really just said not. hello 1992) in reality, they are more obsessed than ever. they honestly cannot get enough of you.
i think it's safe to say the love is mutual!
overall the last month has been a treat for all of us. we love to watch you grow and explore everything around you. you are becoming so observant. it's so amazing to watch.
it's easy to see why we love you so much little annie girl.
we can't wait to see what next month brings!
