more halloween
12:59 PM
as if our annual halloween party wasn't enough fun for one weekend...it was really only just the tip of the iceberg. that weekend was jam packed with halloween festivities.
it all started friday evening with trunk-or-treat up at sgm. dan and i had a party to attend (as you'll see) so we weren't going to be able to take the girls. leave it to my fabulous parents to step in and take on this crazy event. the girls would have been so bummed to have missed this so huge hugs and kisses and thank yous to nene and dow!
of course i had to snap a few pics of them in their costumes before they left.
(you'll notice throughout these halloween posts that lilly couldn't quite decide on one princess. for months she wanted to be jasmine...but once the costume arrived she wasn't so sure about having her belly show or the really baggy pants. thank goodess for our vast array of dress ups!)
close up on that little sass-a-frass
(and my dead mum. do not judge. my kids are fed.)
my fellow sgm moms sent me some updates throughout the event.
meanwhile dan and i got ourselves all gussied up to attend dan's cousin katie's 30th birthday bash. what a party! gorgeous location with gorgeous decorations to celebrate a gorgeous girl! i know katie had the best time and we were so happy we could be apart of it. i wish i had more pics...
sunday we kept the party going with a halloween hayride and bonfire at bellerive. this is one of our favorite events. smores, a hayride around the golf course, a magic show, dinner i don't have to cook...what more could you want??

my princesses

hayride time!
deep discussions about the haunted house inside. ryan went through it last year and vowed never to go in again...until she's 16.
pretty girls...
hayride selfie to document that i was actually there!
these two...

we attempted some group pics...
but the troops were soon distracted by a bunch of lady bugs on a tree
i'm sure the grounds crew really appreciated this...
cartwheels on the croquet lawn
this one (insert laughing face emoji)

obviously the family comedian
3 halloween events in 3 days.
i'm shocked their costumes are still in tact.
only a few more events to get through...
