hauck spring break '15

man oh man did we have an absolute blast on spring break this year. i'm sure you are just dying to hear all about it. since there is no way you could have gotten enough from my daily instagrams or Facebook posts, i'm going to drill even more pictures down your throat.
let's start with our departure, shall we?
for this trip it was girls only. dan had to stay back this time due to work. while we missed the heck out of him all week...we took full advantage of having dottie all to ourselves.
we headed south on monday. the big girls are quite the travel experts now. ryan read her junie b jones book the whole flight while lil did her sticker book and may colored. annie, however, did not stop squirming for the full two hours...but no tears so i call that a success.
the lady at the baggage counter gave the girls these balloons to take home upon their arrival. those definitely were not a pain in the ass in the car on the way to the house. thanks a lot, lady.

we didn't get back to the house until about 7pm so we just had some dinner and called it a night.

these girls are at perfect pool ages. i was in my lawn chair all afternoon while they swam and played.
mom-heaven.
first dinner out...you better believe we hit up the crab trap in the golf cart!
i could not get over how much this baby loved the sand. i thought for sure she would hate it and spend maybe 5 total minutes down there all week. quite the contrary. she crawled in it, played with it and most surprisingly of all...hardly ate any of it.
vacations are exhausting.
