even though we asked her not too...our tiger lilly went and turned eight anyway.

this year lilly asked for a party at the house. summer birthdays are so much easier to pull together...and a luau is my favorite theme!
we invited her school friends for a couple hours...then kept the party going with family/friends until the sun went down!
(gotta love big sisters who offer to help with party events)
no hauck party is complete without a bouncy slide! by the end of the party almost every adult took at least one ride down...it was beyond fun!
dan was able to get his box fix in thanks to the sweeney and peterson boys.
her actual birthday fell on father's day this year...
so we celebrated both of them with a family breakfast and some bowling.
