93 years young!

a very special happy birthday goes out to my pop!!

 you would never know he turned 93 today. in my eyes pop has not changed a bit since i was a little girl. some of my favorite childhood memories are of the weekend trips g'ma & pop would take us on (ie, branson...as seen in the fabulous picture below. lisa's gonna love me for this one!), spending the night over at their house and reading the same books that i can still see and remember to this day, or the $20 he would always secretly slip into our hands after every visit. he is probably the best storyteller i have ever met and more times than not those stories turn into hilarious jokes. from serving our country to serving the eucharist, from cheering on his grandkids at sporting events to cheering on his prayer pals, pop is the kind of man you feel very lucky to have met. i know i speak for my siblings when i say we all feel so blessed to have such an amazing grandfather. i am so happy my girls are able to make the same fabulous memories with pop as i have.

he is a patriarch in ever essence of the word.
