resolution #1....check!

i am not a big new year's resolution person...but this year I made two. not for myself but for my babes. the first was to get lilly off the bottle, the second, to get ryan out of diapers. I am so so happy to report that lil is no longer addicted to her beloved dr browns!

it actually went much smoother than i though it would. our pediatrician told me that my best bet was to go cold turkey on her little butt. she was right! i started the day we got back from colorado. expected the worst but my baby was such a big girl about it. she cried for her beloved "ba ba" a little bit at bedtime but not much at all. i figured this was for sure a fluke....she must just be exhausted from traveling, right? but the next day/night was much of the same. a few wimpers at nap time and that was it. when did I become such a pessimist? i love it when my kids handle change so well!

we have been bottle free for an entire week now. i am so proud of my little bear! now if only i could get her sister to go on the potty....
