giving thanks

december is here and already i feel like i am running out of time. it's only the 3rd yet i can feel the days quickly slipping away as we get closer and closer to christmas. 

i am making myself take a deep breath tonight and remember why it is i love this time of year so very much. 

family. 

family is everything. 

nothing makes me happier than to have my family around me and no holiday does that better than thanksgiving. 

what can i say about this holiday that i haven't already? it's just such a good one. how can you not love a day where the sole purpose is to be thankful. it doesn't matter your religion or race or upbringing. it's simply about loving those around you. 

i could go on and on and on about what i am thankful for this year. the list is endless because i am beyond blessed with this life i'm living. i think, without a doubt, my number one is dan. if it wasn't for him i wouldn't have four beautiful daughters. if it wasn't for him i wouldn't live in this beautiful house. if it wasn't for him i wouldn't wake up everyday and get to do a "job" i absolutely love. i am thankful for dan every day of my life...but it seems fitting to give him a little more on thanksgiving.

obviously very close behind my hubs is the girls. each and every one of them light up my life like they will never know.

my in-laws...

my siblings...

my grandparents...

my friends...

my extended family...

diet dr pepper...

....i am getting a little off track.

basically thanksgiving rules and i love it.
