thanks 2014!

well, well, well...here we are. the last couple hours of a great year.

dan & i were discussing the past 365 days earlier this afternoon. how truly wonderful it was.

i was thinking about how i'd sum it all up...and i think i've decided 2014 was a year of growth.

first and foremost the growth of our family with the birth of our fourth perfect princess. without a doubt the very best day of 2014!!

next would be the growth of our children. they just continue to get bigger and bigger...and at an alarmingly fast rate, i might add! 2014 was a huge year for ryan & lilly as they both began school together this fall. i still can't believe that we have a first grader and a kindergartener!

lastly would be the growth of our marriage. i think dan & i continue to grow every single day in our marriage. as partners, as parents, as pals. we don't always agree on everything, and it isn't always rainbows & sunshine...but we love and respect each other a little more every year.

i'm so very happy to begin a new year with my five favorite people. cannot wait to see what 2015 has in store for the hauck's!


tonight we celebrated at 8pm cst with our best pals...

no way dan & i are making it to midnight, so...
