it's been over a week since this girl turned 7 months...and boy a lot has happened since then!

for starters, christmas!!!

you were such a good sport this christmas. barely even a fuss being dragged from party to party...and looking pretty dang adorable along the way, if i do say so myself!

you didn't seem to mind santa at all this year. you will pretty much let anyone hold you so i really wasn't surprised when you didn't bat an eye with the big guy.

christmas morning didn't really impress you. sure you loved the few (cough, one, cough) toys santa brought you. however, tasting the wrapping paper was much more exciting. you were also ready for your morning nap about 5 minutes into the unwrapping frenzy.

along with christmas you also were able to experienc all the fun that comes with the best season of the year.

to name a few...

your first thanksgiving

your first winter wonderwalk

(you look thrilled about that one)

your first cookie party

your first hauck holiday skate

(which you absolutely loved, by the way. dad said you were belly laughing as he spun you around the rink.)

during those few days this month when we weren't getting all merry and bright you managed to get bigger even though i asked you not too. while we don't go to the doctor again until 9months i can tell that you are one healthy little girl. you loooove to eat. you are on 90% table food and loving every single thing I've given you.

you also loooove bath time.

you've also realized you can do this while you wait for the bath to fill up. crawling and pulling up at 7 months. i cannot keep up with you, kid.

i still cannot believe this myself, but while dad was holding you at christmas eve mass he realized you have cut your first tooth. i had absolutely no idea. granted you weren't sleeping all that great that week but a tooth would have been my very last guess. all three of your big sisters didn't get their first until 11 months. look at you, doing everything early!

speaking of sleeping...you are still kicking butt in the nap department. you take two solid naps a day...at least 1.5-2 hours. you love to sleep. i will give you your bottle downstairs, walk you up to your room, plop you in your bed and say goodnight. you might fuss for 30 seconds but then the finger goes in and that's all she wrote.

you do pretty well at night too. you were sleeping 12 hours (from 7-7) consistently but have been getting up once every night the last week or so. i'm assuming from the tooth?!? hopefully we'll be back to 12 hours in the coming nights.

your sisters are still utterly obsessed. when i bring you downstairs in the morning or from a nap they all yell your name and run over to kiss and hug you immediately.

you love it.
