summer week 7

well, week 7 started off with a bang.

this little lady caught a nasty virus the last day of our vacation. by saturday her fever spiked really high and she laid in my lap pretty much all day and all night.

dan and the girls, however, met up with dottie for mass and dinner.

on sunday lil got together with her fellow first graders for a little mermaid swim party. what a fun day this was! summer's been so busy that we haven't had much of a chance to get together with school friends. these girls were all so excited to see one another.

the upcoming week brought vacation bible school with it. this is one of the only two camps i signed the big girls up for this summer. since it was just the little girls and i in the mornings we ran errands and hit up a few parks.

i took the big girls out to lunch after vbs one day. ryan cannot wait to be big enough to sit in the front seat...anytime we are in the drive-thru at chick-fil-a (which is more times than i like to admit) she jumps up in the front seat and pretends to be a teenager.

god help me.

the rest of the week was pretty boring. by friday though we were ready to party. we headed up to bellerive to have dinner and swim. as it turned out we had the entire pool to ourselves. just us and the lifeguards. love it when that happens!

saturday night we took in a movie at the lodge. lisa & i just took the big two and man, oh man, was it easy! we literally sat on our lounge chairs the entire time.
