wedding circuit 2016

2:52 PM

we have been riding the wedding train all summer long...i think this has been our busiest summer to date, wedding-wise. they have all been family affairs and each one as been as fun as the last!

we kicked things off back in april with an o'rourke extravaganza. dan's adorably sweet cousin, caitlin got married at a beautiful little event space in the heart of missouri wine country.

man do i love this family!!
from day one of meeting them (16 whole years ago!) they have embraced me as one of their own and i love them so much for that. this family loves to party and you are always guaranteed an awesome time when they are all together. caitlin's wedding was so exception...we had way too much fun!!

caitlin was so very sweet to include all the kids in her big day. however, we decided to leave annie at home to have a sleepover with my parents. she just can't hang quite as long as the big girls yet.

the girls loved every minute of this wedding. from the bride walking down in her dress to the non-stop dancing once the music started.

wedding dan is one of my favorite dan's. i think this guy had enough fun for everyone that night. he can't help but let loose when he's around his o'rourke family!

lil and may crashed around 11:00 so i headed back to the hotel with them...ry, however, danced until the very last song. this girl knows never to leave a party too soon!

wedding number two involved a little luxury travel! this time we brought annie along and made a long weekend out of it. the big girls finished their last day of school at 11 and we were on a plane to california at 2 ready to celebrate mike and kel!

we landed and headed straight to the welcome party. again, the bride and groom were so sweet to include the kids in a few of their events that weekend.

the hauck family.
man, did i luck out or what? i don't think many people can say they love each and every side of their significant others family like i can.

the day of our wedding we were able to spend some time with our california friends! the schacht girls (plus rob & selina) came over to hotel to hang out with us. we usually try to meet up with them in colorado but since we were gonna be in their neck of the woods we couldn't pass up a chance to play. the girls had so much fun together!

we left the girls at home with a babysitter while we headed out to the wedding. every detail of this night was just beautiful. we couldn't wait to #meetthedurbins

sunday was a fun beach party complete with an in & out burger truck! heavenly.
we had an absolute blast in newport. thanks again to mike and kel for such a memorable weekend!

wedding number three was yet another hauck affair in yet another dreamy location. this time we headed down to the mountains of north carolina for a kid-free weekend of fun. the backdrop for this wedding was insane. views for days.

we had the best time hanging with family and not having to worry about parenting for the weekend.

apparently i was in a selfie kind of mood.

we aren't usually a very pda-ey kind of couple, but the vodka was flowing and we were a-dancing.
plus this boy and his beard are just too cute.

the final event of the summer was the cherry on top of this delicious wedding sundae.
my baby brother is married!!!

we had the best time celebrating jake and sara. it was a gorgeous july evening at one of the prettiest places in all of missouri. the girls were all invited to this soiree so of course we had to dress the to the nines! hair courtesy of our personal stylist...aka megan.

half of the mary club.

almost all of the girls...just missing the hurricane.

these two had a big job as flower girls. those ballerina dresses had us all gushing over them. the big girls couldn't get over how cute their baby sisters looked.

a little lipstick before their big job.

getting ready to walk (or run, in annie's case) down the aisle.

yes, that is my husband marrying my brother! what an honor this was. he killed it as the officiant. short, but very very sweet...thank goodness because that sun was no joke! after the ceremony may turned to my mother-in-law and asked "why was my dad the priest??" haha gotta love the mind of a four year old.

this lady has now officially married off 3 of her 4 kids!

one of the sweetest moments of the night...all 8 (may eventually joined them) watching the first dance. these kids were such troopers and had an absolute blast dancing the night away.
my phone died before the ceremony even started so we'll just have to wait for the professional pics to see the rest of the night. i know they will have a bunch of the dance floor...annie and colleen were tearing it up!!

we have one more wedding this fall to complete our 2016 wedding tour...another hauck adventure out of town. we can't wait!!
