blah blah blah

not a whole lot going on this week. it's been business as usual around here. it's still hotter than you know what outside so we've been spending a lot of time inside. for those of you who were worried we have not been supporting our local parks recently, have no fear. we ventured out monday morning. however, only for about an hour...it was just way too hot! the kids didn't seem to mind the heat as much as aunt bossy & i did. they had fun playing in the shade at the little log cabin at drace park.


"wait up guys." we have decided that lilly doesn't realize she is younger than brendy & ry. sometimes i swear she thinks she is older than them. my dad has now nicknamed her scout...as in scout from "to kill a mockingbird." she is already our little tomboy. the name fits her perfectly :)




i sent this picture to dan and he immediately called me and laughed that this picture is totally a "little dan, little katie" picture. the difference in skin tone is pretty funny.

apprently ryan was being shy? soooo not like her.


that night daddy had to go to the cardinal's game with some vendors for work so it was just the girls & i at home. i'm not sure what got into them but they were really loving each other. sometimes a little too much...


wednesday night we headed over to ne ne & dow's to check out dow's new ride and to make pizzas. the kids were so excited to see the new car with "no roof" as ry pointed out!






after dinner, and once it stopped raining dow took the big kids for a spin around the neighborhood. they were gone 5 minutes...i swear. no need to call child services for the lack of car seats!


the little girls stayed back with ne ne & i...but took off down the street after the big kids. they hate being left out!








i apologize for all the grainy iphone pictures. i haven't charged my camera since the wedding last weekend. i need to get on that!
