1408 update

i know, i know...i have really been slacking in my updates on the house. i apologize. there really is a lot going on these days with our "3rd child." the house is completely dry walled and today they began putting paint on the walls! yay! the cabinets have been ordered, the appliances have been ordered...things are really moving along! the number one question i get whenever asked about the house is "when do you think it will be finished?" unfortunately i don't really have an answer for this. originally, the builders said september...since that is about a month away that is obviously not going to happen. however, i am trying to stay optimistic and hope we will be in by thanksgiving. i'm sure all the little detail work inside will take while but now that it's dry walled & you can actually see rooms we are starting to get really really excited. it's finally starting to hit me that this will soon be our home. i really am luckiest girl in the world! we are already planning our house-warming party!

ry's room painted. not 100% finished. we are going to have the bottom 1/2 striped with a slightly darker green.


lilly's room 1/2 way painted. it looks blue in these pictures but really it's purple. the remaining walls will be a lighter shade of purple.


i am in love with the dormers in lil's room!


"ali's room" as ryan likes to call it. this is above the garage. we will eventually finish this and it will be a little "suite" with a bedroom, bath and kitchenette. this is a "down the road" project.
