day three
1:15 PM
this is what we woke up to on tuesday....
nothing but blue skies as far as the eye could see! debby has officially left the building and we couldn't be more excited to see her go. we continued on with our trip in usual fashion.
beach, lunch, pool
the water was upgraded to one red flag (as opposed to double red we had on monday) so we could get in the water but had to stay pretty close to shore.
nene bought a new beach game, from aldi's of all places. big hit! just another reason to love that store.
brendy getting ready to test the waves on a boogie board
surfer dude!!!
big and little
my mother-in-law was here at the house for two weeks before we arrived. we, of course, made her stay for a few days.
after lunch it was back to the pool to practice jumping again
look who woke up from her nap to join us
more jumping
taking my baby for a dip
after a little rest and baths we headed back down to the beach to try and get some pics of the kids. after all...lisa and i packed at least 3 sets of coordinating outfits. we had to at least snap a few pics...if only to document that they actually wore them. the kids weren't super cooperative for this shoot. all the swimming caught up with them. stay tuned for day four's shoot...much better!
my mom tries to get her christmas card picture this week every year. this year she decided instead of trying to get a picture of all 6 of them...which is near impossible...that she would do this
i will crop them and put them all on one card for her when the time comes. i mean seriously. how cute is this idea?!? now, everyone forget you saw this until it arrives in your mailbox in december!
