another month has passed us by...and i am late again. one whole week ago this little birdie turned 9 months!

we visited dr sara this week for our 9 month check up. she had nothing but perfection to report. you weighed in at 18lb 7oz...which put you right smack in the middle. the 50th percentile. perfect.

still no teeth to report, but not to worry, your sisters didn't sprout their first until almost 11 months. this has not prohibited you in the eating department in any way. you can gum just about anything I give you.

your new trick this month is standing by yourself. you did this out of the blue one day the pool. you were crawling along and just decided to stand up. i was shocked. granted, you only last a few seconds on your feet...but it's a start. i'm anxious to see if you are walking by 10 months, like lilly.

when not crawling or standing by yourself you are still pulling up on everything in sight...and cruising up a storm.

you still love bath time.

and bedtime. you love to sleep...and you love your bed. (i can't say i blame you!) this was evident when you made your first trip to beaver creek. you were up at least once every night there...but as soon as we got home you went right back to sleeping 8-8.

a few weeks back we took you and your sisters to get passport pictures taken. we have a trip
to the bahamas on the horizon and while we are still debating whether or not you will be coming with us or staying here with dottie...we decided to get you a passport just incase. of course i would love for you to come with us...but the thought of a longer flight with a very squirmy 10 month old sounds pretty hard to me. we will see. but just look at that passport photo...I love it so much.
