yesterday morning lisa was telling me about these great books that my mom had told her about. (man do i love having teachers at my beck & call) they are very simple books that help introduce kids to reading. repetition books...think "see jane run"...that help build a child's confidence and hopefully a lifelong love of reading. after discussing the book that brendan had we decided that we could probably just make our own.

so that was our project after school yesterday. ryan was absolutely giddy at the idea. i had her write all the words but helped her a little with the pictures.

do i know how to make a stick figure, or what?!? thank goodness ryan coordinated us all so well...




she has already read them at
least 20 times each and couldn't wait to read them to dan at bedtime last night!

this girl is totally and completely into learning and i am running with it while i can. I hope this rubs off on her younger sisters!
