school girls

well...two of my four girls are officially in school.
real school.
all day school.
the first day (aug 18, 2014) was such a great morning. both girls basically sprang out of bed and jumped into their uniforms. love when they are excited...makes our early mornings so much easier.
i mean honestly, how cute does our little tiger look.

and then there is our beautiful first grader. she looks way too old.

a little bit of worry started to set in once she realized it was almost time to leave mom & dad and walk into the unknown.
thankfully our girl is as brave as they come. she kissed me, gave me a nice long hug and was on her way.
that's when the waterworks started...for me.
it was a mix of sadness and pride. i'm sad that i won't see her for 7 hours a day but so very proud at how great she handled her nerves.
they both had a wonderful first day. they are growing up and we couldn't be more proud of both our big girls.
