summer randomness

2:02 PM

now that summer is coming to an end (tear) i thought i'd go back and look at all the fun we've had around town. we truly have had a wonderful summer. as excited as i am for the girls to start school, i'm also a little sad that our carefree days are coming to an end.

lord knows we could all use a little routine back in our lives though.

before we took off on our beach vacation we hit up the zoo for a little jungle boogie. this was such a fun evening seeing some animals and listening to some music.

i never have to work to hard to get these three to pose

may is at such a fun age...she cracks us up pretty much all day long. she was so entertaining on the dance floor.

they don't call these twirly dresses for no reason

foreshadowing to their first high school mixer

a random shopping trip with 3 of the four. i can trust these two with these carts now...but they are still the bane of my existence.

the day after we got home from florida we were given tickets to suessical at the muny. (thank you carolyn...can't beat those seats!) my mom and i had no idea what to expect with this show...it was awesome! i highly recommend it if you have a chance to see it. so cute.

the corbin kiddos came in town...so of course we had a playdate at camp hauck

thats alotta kids...patrick annie & claire not pictured

always up for solo shots

poor molly encountered her first bee...hence the swollen eye. she was such a trooper, poor girl!

we did a few nights at kirkwood pool with my parents.

dan had a birthday

we went to the cardinals game for that birthday

more pool time at the lodge

we watched ellie a few days when she was off school. the girls love this week. these three play so well together.

one of their favorite activities is bathing at my house. this day we did some shaving cream art in the shower. just look at that masterpiece.

we also colored... a lot

and watched movies after they spent the morning at gymnastics camp

we also gave ellie some major baby fever.

uncle scott came in town and got to meet his 4th niece for the 1st time! the girls had lots of sleepovers at dottie's while scott was in town. they love their uncle!!

great grandpa feeding his 5th great granddaughter

lil woke up to this little surprise in our yard

we ran through sprinklers in our clothes

and for their last rainy weekend before school starts...daddy took them rock climbing

i sure do love experiencing summers again through my daughter's eyes...
