the girls had their primary holiday program earlier this month.

here is what i expected...

i expected all the adorable children singing church songs.

i expected lilly to shy away from any and all attention. (these shows are just not her thing and that is totally ok.)

i expected ryan to sing a song or two with some other kids in her class.

what i did not expect was for our girl to not only sing the entire finale song...but bring the whole crowd to their feet at the end!

to say we were proud of her would be the understatement of the year. i have watched this video at least 100 times and wear a huge smile on my face every single time. her confidence and her passion for being on stage overwhelms me with emotion.

this is her dream and i am so glad to be along for the ride.

she will take the stage again in january as an orphan in a production of annie warbucks.

we can't wait to see our little girl shine once again!
