soooo...annie had a birthday!

one whole month ago.

whoopsie do.

summer is in full swing around here which always means my poor little blog takes a backseat to real life. we are having the busiest summer to date...but man have we had some awesome adventures. i will get them blogged asap.

for now, we're going back to may 15th. also known in this house as "annie's day"

two whole years with this girl. man is time flying.
it's taken me two years, but now i laugh when i think back to the first few months with this girl. they were hard...like really hard...but man has she made up for it ten fold. two years later this girl is about as easy as they come. she is happy about 98% of the time, the other 2% she is probably just tired. this girl loooooves to sleep.

she also loves to laugh and boy is it contagious. you cannot help but smile when her little face lights up. it doesn't matter if she hasn't seen you in 5 days or 5 minutes...she will greet you as if you have been away from her for years.

for the moment i am number one in her life. she's is definitely a mommy's girl...but just like the other 3, i know this will be short lived. soon it will be all daddy, all the time. i'm soaking her in as long as i can.

her big sisters are still overly obsessed with her...

and the feeling is, obviously mutual.

from her bouncing blonde curls to her rosy red cheeks this girl grabs the attention of pretty much everyone she meets...and there isn't a person she is happy to say "hi" too. she's our little social butterfly that's for sure.

her big morning was spent like every birthday morning in our house.
balloons and pancakes!

a couple days before her birthday annie and i took a quick little trip down to fort lauderdale for a little photo shoot. i can't say much more about it...i've been sworn to secrecy about the new clothes...but it was pretty fun having the birthday girl all to herself.

then it was back home to celebrate with cake. her birthday night also happened to fall on a blues playoff game that we had tickets too...so a quick impromptu afternoon party did the trick. thankfully when you're two you don't know any different!!

happy happy (belated) birthday to our very own annie mouse.
we love you so much!
