top o' the mornin'

ahhhh...another st. patrick's day is upon us. this is without a doubt dan's favorite holiday of the year. ok, maybe christmas is in the lead now that we have the girls...but st. pat's is a very close second. that husband of mine is irish through and through and loves everything about his irish roots. the festivites began on saturday with the downtown parade.

the girls, along with their 2nd cousin ella, were lucky enough to score some front row seats (thanks aunt molly!!) and enjoyed about half of the parade from these spots.

i think the girls were getting a little closterphobic after awhile so we mosied back to find daddy and run off some energy. ryan had a bizarre fascination with all the marching bands. her & dan sat and watched them line up and practice for probably an hour.

we also found ellie..lilly was so excited to see her best pal.

it was a fun morning and completely wiped the girls out. they both fell asleep within 5 minutes of the drive home and slept for over 3 hours. all that fresh air and excitement will do that to you!
