11:57 AMhere is sit in the orlando airport awaiting our flight home (listening to the sound of thunder...arg) and i am already missing the beach terribly. it's funny how different our vacations are now that we have the girls. they aren't about our experiences anymore but now about making memories for them. there is less relaxing and more activity planning. there is less sun bathing on the beach and much more playing in the sand. i honestly think i got in the ocean more this trip than i have since i was their age. it really is a thrill to watch them experience all this country of ours has to offer. from the mountains to the beaches and everything in between. i'm so glad we are able to show it all to them.
now, back to the pictures. afterall that is what you are here for, right?!? by day 2 our daily morning routine fell into place. beach from about 9:30-11:00, pool from 11:00-12:30, back for lunch and naps, we successfully wore them out...so much so that miss "i think i'm too old for naps" hauck even slept most days.
dan finishing up some work on the beach. with all the time he's had to be away from work with his shoulder he briefly hesitated even coming on this trip. but like the true family man he is...he chose us. (i knew i married him for a reason) he did, however, have to get some work done. he did an excellent job of juggling that & spending time with his kids.

dan even taught the big kids how to play tag. they didn't quite grasp the concept as they kept running directly towards him when he yelled "go"...but they loved it anyway.
another successful beach day. heading up to get the golf cart and head to the pool...
