miss me?

i've been slacking on the blog this week since dan was gone on a biz trip since monday. we are so happy to have him home. and now that i have my computer back, i have lots to catch up on. for starters, last sunday we took a little road trip to visit our puppy. (quick update incase you're new to the blog. our black lab, delaney, has been vacationing at dan's uncle david's farm since february. with the construction it proved to be too much to have her track mud through the house every time it rained. david so kindly offered to take her out to play on the farm until the house is complete)

after breakfast we packed up the girls and hit the road. it was so great to see delaney...and boy was she happy to see us! She went straight for dan as soon as we pulled up!

lilly is currently obsessed with dogs so she was delighted to see delaney...even though i'm pretty sure she does not remember her. she was only 7 months old when delaney left, afterall.


delaney took us on a tour of the farm and introduced us to all her new animal friends!

after naps we met up with aunt nanny ali, bossy and brendy for the kids first movie experience! toy story 3 of course. ry and brendy are a little obsessed with toys story. according to them brendy is "buzz" and ry is "jessie"

so excited to be at a movie theatre like big kids

movie theatre popcorn...not quite as good as dow's...but pretty darn good :)

to cap off a great sunday we headed over to ne ne & dow's for dinner. is that mary poppins??
