mary ryan at 2 1/2!!

two and a half already? it is really hard to believe that only 3 years ago the world had not yet been introduced to you! at 2 1/2 you are quite the funny little girl. you impress me everyday with your growing vocabulary. for example, yesterday when you finished your pudding you licked your fingers and exclaimed "that's finger licking good!" you love to tell us daily who your "best friends" are. (mommy, daddy, sissy, brendy, molly moose, lucy, beanies and baby bear) you love, love, love to perform and currently your favorite songs are "the sun'll come out tomorrow", "you got a friend in me", "just around the riverbend", and of course the standards....abc's, twinkle twinkle and itsy bitsy spider. you are ready to break into song at a moments notice!

you have completely exceeded all my expectations when it comes to being a big sister. you are a shining star in your little sister's eyes. she follows you around and does everything you do. you are teaching lilly what it means to truly be a big girl. although we have not mastered the whole potty business yet...you know it's there and I have no worries that you will be ready in your own time. uou also haven't graduated to your big girl bed yet. you love your crib but I can tell you are counting down the days until you are in your new room with your new bed! speaking of the new house...you absolutely love to go into the new house and will take anyone who comes over for a tour to see your & lilly's rooms.

everyone always tells me "she looks just like you" and I couldn't be more flattered because you are such a beautiful girl inside and out. i am not sure your daddy & i really knew what happiness was until you and your sister came into our life. you are growing up and, although i feel it's going way too fast, i am so thankful i get to enjoy the ride with you! we love you ry!
