back in business!

my goodness, could it get any hotter in this city?!? today we hit up tot time at the pool with a bunch of our friends. i swear it is even too hot to be at a pool. unless you are completely submerged the entire time, it's pretty miserable. sofia & grace joined us and brought all of our tie-dye creations from the other day. they actually turned out pretty cute!! we have a some tie-dye artists on our hands. the kids modeled their new attire for lunch at ne ne & dow's after the pool. (we like to go over there even when they are both at work! haha)

after receiving the bad news that my beloved sony had died due to water damage, i took a chance of looking online to see if could find a deal on a new camera. i wasn't expecting to get my exact cyber-shot but something somewhat comparible and definitely cheaper. that's when i came across this lovely little guy on ebay. he is the exact same as my old camera and was going for almost half the price! i was on pins and needles and after three long days of waiting i finally won him!! he arrived today and i cannot wait to put him to use. i will make sure to not be so careless with this puppy b/c if i destroy this one i am really up a creek ;)
