extracurricular activities

as the school year winded down...so did the girls extracurricular activities. i thought i would throw a few of the pics/videos on here for your viewing pleasure. also, because i need to be able to go come back to these once ryan is on broadway, or lilly's competing in the 2024 summer olympics...or when may's...ummm...well...oh just because may's cute ;)

first up was the culmination of ryan's musical theatre class. she has been taking this class since january and boy, oh boy am i glad i found it. this is soooo up her alley. it's her foot in the theatrical world and she loves it so much.

this particular session they learned a song/dance to "biggest blame fool" from seussical. if you haven't seen this musical, i highly recommend it. it's pretty fabulous.

next up was the final show of lilly's gymnastics session. she has been taking gymnastics since she was about 15 months. she truly loves it and seems to have a knack for it. her teacher has been hinting around at her trying out for the team next year...but we'll cross that bridge if/when we come to it.

for anyone who knows lilly, then you know attention is not really her thing. she gets quite nervous doing anything in front of a crowd so the fact that she did this routine was huge! we were so proud of her.

then there was may's final gymnastics show. she has been taking a little preschool class every week all year. she seemed to enjoy it but has already told me she wants to try ballet next year. at least she gave it her all!
