we have officially come down off the happy birthday roller coaster we've been riding for the last week and it is back to business as usual around here. we had a lovely lazy weekend. we took advantage of the gorgeous day on saturday and brought the girls new bikes up to our beloved drace park to take them for a spin. we made it a full lap around the park and then hit the playground where ryan ran into one of her little classmates. i love when this happens. it is adorable to see her react to seeing one of her classmates outside of school...and i enjoy talking with the other moms of her classmates.

lil realized halway through our lap that this was a much more effective way to get to the playground!

we also played a lot of dress up this weekend. both girls are loving the new princess dresses and heels ry got for her birthday. i think these girls are ready for disney world!

on saturday night dan and chris had a guys night at the blues game...so we had megan, ellie, aunt bossy and baby jack over for a little girls night in. (plus jack, of course) the girls had a blast playing, taking a bath and hanging out in their matching jams. (thanks to auntie amy!) i'm sure the boys had a good time...but there is no way thay had more fun than us :)
