i am not a huge valentine's day person. don't get me wrong i am all for a day where you love a little more...but i feel like you should be doing that every other day of the year not just on february 14th. i think it tends to get overshadowed in our house ever since my favorite valentine's day in 2008, when i went into the hospital to have our first born. now, she didn't arrive until the following day but nothing has ever or will ever top that v-day...so i don't really see the point in making a big production out of it. however, i do feel it derserves a post. so here you have it. what i love, in no particular order...

i love the way my girls smell when i get them out of the bed in the morning and how warm their cheeks are from being in dream land all night

i love the feel of a 60 degree day after a very cold winter

i love a long hot shower and am quickly becoming a huge fan of the bubble bath

i love skinny vanilla lattes from starbucks

i love anything and everything in the kate spade store. even the store itself...the bright colors lure me in everytime, while the high prices quickly snap me back to reality

i love the way dan is able to leave all the stresses of his highly stressful job at the office and come home and enjoy his family every night.

i love how delaney rarely ever barks and lays at my feet while i work on my blog

i love how i talk to my sister at least twice a day and that our kids are more like brothers and sisters rather than cousins

i love that we live in a city that has seasons. that my kids can enjoy everything mother nature has to offer. sometimes good and sometimes ugly

i love how the girls' faces light up everytime i mention my mom and dad

i love to watch lilly desperately try to be like her big sis...like when she wears a pair of ryan's big girl undies over her diaper

i love that my kids have great grandparents...and fabulous ones at that

i love a good diet dr pepper fountain soda

i love hosting dinner parties...especially now

i love our house
